Extended Services - Childcare Options

At St Anthony's we provide a variety of childcare choices both funded and paid for families of children from 2 to 4 years of age.

Free education for 2 & 3 year olds

Eligible children are entitled to 15 hours a week of free education during school term times with a childcare provider of your choice. This could be a child-minder, nursery or pre-school/playgroup, and some schools also provide places.  

Free places should be taken at a good or outstanding Ofsted graded setting to ensure the best care and learning opportunities for your child. The Family Service offers more information about finding local childcare - Family Information Service

Free childcare for 3 and 4 year olds

All Solihull 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to receive 15 hours of early education funding in an Ofsted registered setting. In addition to this, some children will be eligible for an additional 15 hours of early education funding.
